Nasturtiums
I don’t grow a lot of flowers in my garden but when I do, they’re edible. This beauties have a spicy peppery flavor that reminds me of radishes. These plants are rich in vitamin D, potassium, iron, folate, zinc and copper and have a long list of medicinal uses due to its high phytochemical content. Perfect this time of year for an immune system boost! Easy to grow or check out your local farmers market. Add them on top of avocado toast, salad or decorate your holiday cheese board.
